Tuesday 4 March 2025 sees the official launch of Thomia at the Barefoot Garden Cafe (shown above on a quiet weekday afternoon). Though official, the proceedings will be fairly informal: I’ll say a few words to kick things off, then make myself available to anyone who’d like to chat. There will be a few ‘short eats’ and a cash bar selling beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. There may be a few representatives of the media moving among the guests. Those of you who have already obtained a copy of Thomia (or perhaps more than one) can bring them along to the event and I shall be happy to sign them for you.
There will also be copies available for sale at the event itself. Sadly my efforts to obtain a card reader for the occasion did not succeed, so I’m afraid sales will have to be cash or direct online payment only.
The proceedings will begin at 7.00pm and the gathering will continue until 9:30pm. I look forward to seeing you – customers, collaborators, friends and well-wishers – there on the night.
