Back out of town to the press this morning to approve the slipcase print proofs and watch the dust-jackets coming off the machine. The pages – that is, the book itself – have all been printed and are now halfway through the binding stage, while the covers are being made up separately at Softwave in Colombo. At this rate, we may even have a few copies to show off at Mount Lavinia on Old Boys’ Day... Here are few more behind-the-scenes images for you: slipcases being printed, dust-jackets stacked up ready for cutting and folding. Probably our last press visit: now the action moves back to Colombo.
